“Martial Arts & Action Performance Made Safe”

Founded in 2018, Condron Screen Combat Training was developed to introduce Martial Arts Training in a new way. Our training brings the physical elements of Martial Arts into the world of Acting and Performance for Stage & Screen. Our mission is to develop confidence, discipline and awareness of safety when working on Film/Stage Productions as well as equipping students with technical skills to ensure that they get the most out of their performances. These classes are suited to all whether you’re interested in Acting, Stunts, Filmmaking or just looking for a physical workout.

Learn Martial Arts and Performance:

From falling and fighting to agility and endurance, the foundation of our class is to bring the best out in students by building a base knowledge of skills so that they understand the process of performing safely when involved in Stage & Screen.

This allows students to identify potential hazards, manage their safety in line with their comfort and ability and build confidence when communicating with cast and crew on sets.

The Process

Create, Rehearse & Video The Action:

Develop your performance by creating choreography, polishing the action with rehearsals, following direction from the instructor, and shooting the fight scene for review. Students with experience have the opportunity to supervise the action to articulate their learning.

In order to maintain and refine skills, we aim to shoot the fight practice and edit the performance so that students can enjoy the results of their training and assess areas that can be improved.

Edits are then available for students to use in their portfolios.

The Performance

Film your showcase professionally:

Over the course of the training, students that develop a strong ability to perform have an option to shoot a scene professionally upon request. These are then available to them to send to Producers and Agents should they wish to pursue Acting, Stunts or Stage Combat.

In order to avail of this, students must show a strong understanding of safety etiquette, performance and combat skills.
